Aimee Van Wagenen - ELA Teacher

Dr. Van loves teaching ELA and psychology at BGA! Dr. Van earned a bachelor’s degree (BA) in sociology and psychology from George Washington University, a Master’s degree (MEd) in education from UMass Boston, and a doctoral degree (PhD) in sociology from Boston College. In her spare time, Dr. Van likes to hike in and around Boston with her dogs, find new photography projects while learning new techniques, and read and journal about her reading. Teaching at the high school level is Dr. Van's third career (so far). She used to research and teach at the college level and conduct and administer research in LGBT health.
