Jodi Then is the High School Counselor for grades 11 and 12 at Boston Green Academy. For the past 7 years, Ms. Then has worked to support students with academics, personal growth and career readiness. In addition to being a part of the BGA community, Ms. Then has been a part of the Boston Public Schools counselor community, helping to relaunch the district-wide School Counselor Faculty Senate, an advocacy group for school counselors across the city. 


Before joining BGA, Ms. Then spent 15 years working at a non-profit organization that specialized in college access and financial aid, counseling students and families on the nuances of applying to college. She has presented her work for local, regional, and national organizations, including the Massachusetts School Counselors Association (MASCA) and the National College Access Network (NCAN).  She holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston University and a Master’s degree from Bridgewater State College in School Counseling. A resident of Boston, she loves cooking, hiking, and traveling with her husband and children, both of which are BPS students.
