Ms. McPhail-Snyder (Ms. M) hails from the great state of Virginia! She attended the University of Virginia where she majored in Aerospace Engineering and developed an intense love for college basketball. After graduating in 2019, she moved to Boston to serve with City Year in a 4th grade inclusion classroom in Dorchester. Following her time with City Year, Ms. M attended Boston University where she received her Masters in Mathematics Education. While at BU, Ms. M was a student teaching intern at Fenway High School where she taught Math 1, Math 2 and Pre-Calculus. Ms. M is incredibly excited to be joining the team at BGA as the 9th grade Math teacher! Outside of school, Ms. M can be found reading, attempting to rescue her neighborhood's stray cats, and scouring the state of Massachusetts for okra pickles.
