What is the BostonGreenGala?

On April 2, 2014, the second annual BostonGreenGala, a fundraiser to benefit Boston Green Academy (BGA), will bring together students, educators, green business leaders and local decision-makers. We are pleased to announce that the Honorable Martin J. Walsh, Mayor of the City of Boston, will deliver the keynote address. Hear Mayor Walsh speak about Boston’s youth, education and the environment – and the pivotal intersection of the three that takes place each day at BGA. The BostonGreenGala, hosted at the newly opened District Hall, promises to be an evening that not only inspires our 200 guests, but also empowers our City’s youth.

Why should you support the BostonGreenGala in 2014?

When you support the BostonGreenGala, you will help raise essential funds for programs that support BGA students, 83% of whom are living at or below the federal poverty line. Money raised goes directly to BGA, bridging the critical gap between funds provided by the State and those needed to reach our mission. Previous sponsors include: Nellie Mae Education Foundation, NSTAR and Mt. Washington Bank.
